The GYSJZ shaft drilling jumbo is a specialized, high-performance drilling machine developed to meet the demands of deep, hard-rock vertical shaft excavation. The drilling machinery is powered by a robust 132kW motor and equipped with three heavy-duty hydraulic drifters, enabling it to handle drilling diameters from 4 to 6 meters. Its lightweight frame (weighing less than 7 tons) eliminates the need for oversized hoisting equipment, offering a cost-effective solution for your drilling needs.
- High power, high speed The drilling machine is equipped with the RC1200 hydraulic drifter, achieves drilling speeds 1.2 to 1.5 times faster than other models on the market. This allows for rapid and efficient drilling in challenging rock conditions, ensuring timely project completion.
- Customizable for enhanced efficiency The adaptable hole diameters (⌀45, ⌀51, ⌀54) allow operators to optimize drill hole size and spacing based on project needs. The use of larger hole sizes and strategic spacing can reduce the number of drilling holes required, boosting both productivity and blasting effectiveness.
- Safety-integrated design The shaft drilling jumbo is equipped with emergency stop buttons on both the control panel and work surface, allowing for immediate shutdown in the event of equipment malfunctions. This protects vital components like pumps and minimizes oil leakage, helping to avoid unnecessary downtime and maintenance costs, while ensuring the continued optimal performance of the pumps.

The GYSJZ6.12S is designed for large-scale projects, including the 16-meter diameter shaft for Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group, Asia’s largest project of its kind.
This dual-drill system uses two GYSJZ6.12 hydraulic shaft drills connected by linking arms. Powered by four 132kW motors and featuring twelve RC1200 drifters, it can handle shaft diameters from 12 to 16 meters efficiently.
The RC1200 drifter, developed by Huatai, is built for efficiency and low energy use. It’s known for its reliability and high performance in mining and tunnel construction, where it adapts well to different rock conditions and job demands.
